VIDEO: Kilpatrick’s Wife & Father Will Have to Testify
DETROIT (WXYZ) – A federal judge ruled Tuesday that former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick’s wife and father will have to testify in the lawsuit filed by family members of murdered exotic dancer Tamara Greene.
A legal brief was filed to prevent Carlita Kilpatrick and Bernard Kilpatrick from being deposed, but U.S. District Court Judge Gerald Rosen ruled in favor of Greene’s family.
Attorney Norman Yatooma who represents the family will be allowed to travel to Texas to depose Carlita and Bernard Kilpatrick.
Judge Rosen denied Yatooma’s request to depose Brooke Jordan, a lawyer who worked in the office of Attorney General Mike Cox.
Jordan now lives in Arizona.
