UPS makes special delivery

Volunteers from the Michigan District of UPS in Livonia and their family members cleaned windows, steamed carpets and trimmed an overgrown tree for the Holman family of Detroit on Oct. 9.

The effort was coordinated by Yatooma’s Foundation for the Kids, a non- profit organization that helps kids struggling with the loss of a parent. Doris Holman is caring for her grandson, Frederick, 9, after losing his mother to cervical cancer.

Among the volunteers was Doug Garber of Livonia.
