Children join suit against officials

Tamara Greene’s daughters joined their brother Monday in a multimillion-dollar federal lawsuit against Detroit officials.

The new parties to the suit are Ashly Jackson, 12, and India Bond, 6.

Greene’s 15-year-old son, Jonathan Bond, and his father, Ernest Flagg are plaintiffs in a $150-million lawsuit brought by attorney Norman Yatooma. It charges that Detroit police executives and city officials thwarted an investigation into the April 30, 2003, death of Greene, a stripper.

Greene’s unsolved killing has fueled rumors linking her to a never-proven party at the Manoogian Mansion in the fall of 2002.

Ashly lives with her father, Taris Jackson, 41, in the Detroit area. He filed an estate claim through an attorney in February in Oakland County Probate Court listing Greene’s brother, Brian Greene, as the other representative.

Brian Greene is raising India with family in western Michigan.
