Champions for the Kids Event
(WXYZ) – A Non-Profit organization is raising money to help children who’ve lost a parent.
The United States Census Bureau estimates that nationally 1 in 20 children will experience the death of a parent by the time they graduate from high school.
Yatooma’s Foundation for the Kids is holding a VIP Dinner and Auction at The Townsend hotel on Sunday, June 7 at 5 p.m. Tickets for the event are available for $250, and attire is black-tie optional.
On Monday, June 8, the Foundation will hold a Golf Tournament beginning at 7 a.m. at Oakland Hills Country Club.
All proceeds will benefit kids and families served through Yatooma’s Foundation for the Kids. Over the past three years, supporters have helped raise nearly $1.5 million for the families supported by the organization.
