Cop who also worked as a stripper deposed in Tamara

A Detroit police officer who also worked as a exotic dancer was deposed on Tuesday in hopes that she could shed some light on the case of slain stripper Tamara “Strawberry” Greene.

Paytra Williams was questioned today by attorney Norman Yatooma, according to The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press. She is believed to have danced with Greene at a rumored, but never-proven party held by former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick at the Manoogian Mansion in 2002.

Greene was shot several times while sitting in a parked car in 2003. Yatooma has filed a civil suit on behalf of Greene’s family alleging that Kilpatrick and other city leaders conspired to block the police investigation of her still-unsolved murder.

In an affidavit related to the lawsuit, former police Sgt. Odell Godbold said his investigation of the murder revealed that Greene and two exotic dancers danced at the Manoogian party, and one of them was injured by the mayor’s wife, Carlita Kilpatrick. Williams is believed to be the stripper who was hurt during the rumored scuffle, according to the News.

Williams has said in the past that she didn’t dance at the Manoogian Mansion, according to the Freep.
