Focus Detroit Luncheon to Recognize Business & Community Leaders
Focus Detroit will recognize the accomplishments of local businesses who have demonstrated their commitment to the Detroit region on November 18 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Detroit Athletic Club. While the region continues to transform itself and is confronting its challenges many people and organizations have shown a commitment not only to Detroit, but the entire region and their involvement has led to continued economic development, giving back to the community and representing the true “Spirit of Detroit”.
This year’s honorees will include:

– Mr. Jim Hiller, President, Hiller’s Markets
– Ms. Shelley Norman Hill, President, Youth Development Commission
– Mr. Luther Keith, Executive Director, ARISE Detroit
– Ms. Susan T. Mosey, Executive Director, University Cultural Center Association
– Dr. Thomas G. Maridada, II, Superintendent of Schools, City of Pontiac
– Mr. Roger Swaninger, President, Spectrum Human Services
– Mr. Joseph Vicari, President, Andiamo Restaurant Group
– Mr. Norman A. Yatooma, Esq, President and Founder, Yatooma’s Foundation for the Kids
These individuals have demonstrated a major commitment to the region, given back to the community and have played a major role in developing and supporting the Southeastern Michigan region.
