Judge Gives Detroit Deadline to Turn Over Records in Greene Murder Case

DETROIT – A judge has given the city of Detroit one week to turn over records related to the murder of Tamara Greene.

Greene is rumored to have danced at the never proven party at the Manoogian mansion. Greene’s family is suing former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and the city for allegedly blocking her murder investigation.

The judge ruled the city is taking too long to turn over records in the case, including 9-1-1 calls and videos from the inside the Manoogian.

“It seems that it has been the strategy of the defendants to drag this case out for as long as possible hoping that either the parties or the council will finally just fall over exhausted,” said Norman Yatooma, the Greene family’s Attorney.

The judge called the delays “disturbing” and gave the city one week to turn over all the evidence.
