New Name Added To Greene Whistle-Blower Lawsuit

A new name has been added to a whistle-blower lawsuit filed against the City of Detroit.
Fawn Colombatto has joined the legal action filed by attorney Norman Yatooma, who is suing the city over its handling of the Tamara Greene murder case.

Greene is the dancer who allegedly performed at a rumored-but-never proven party at the Manoogian Mansion, just months before her death in 2003.

According to the lawsuit, Greene was assaulted by Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick’s wife, Carlita. Carlita, according to Yatooma’s lawsuit, became upset the night of the alleged party, when she arrived at the mansion and found Greene there.

Colombatto is a former emergency medical technican. Her former partner, Douglas Bayer, is also part of the lawsuit.

Bayer has said EMTs treated Greene for the injuries she allegedly received from the mayor’s wife. Bayer also claimed he was threatened and eventually fired because he spoke to investigators about the rumored party. Colombatto claimed she was fired because she refused to discredit Bayer’s story.

Yatooma also represents Greene’s family in a separate lawsuit
