Sing Out 4 the Kids

The Children’s Charities Coalition is announcing a new and innovative fundraiser, “Sing Out 4 Kids.” The event will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, 269 E. Fourth St. in Royal Oak.
The event will offer an evening of karaoke performed by Detroit-based celebrities and personalities. Featured singers include: Karen Newman, voice of the Red Wings and emcee for Sing Out 4 Kids; Kraig 9house, former professional hockey player and lead singer for 9house; Jon Jordan, Local 4 style editor; Brian Elias, Hanson Windows; Huel Perkins, Fox 2 News anchor; Zavette Gibson, local recording artist; Norman Yatooma, attorney; Anne Doyle, leadership coach; Mary Jo Sanders, professional female boxer; Kathy Broock Ballard, real estate agent; Jamie McCarthy, singer/songwriter; Henry Baskin, attorney; Carl Sterr, menswear retailer; Lisa Price and Karie Ross-Dombrowski, community volunteers.
“It’s going to be a really fun evening,” said Jennie Cascio, chairman for The Children’s Charities Coalition. “Our thanks go out to the many celebrities who are contributing their time and talent to raise money for children in our communities.”
