New Witnesses: Rumored Manoogian Party

MyFoxDetroit.com – Two more people come forward in the investigation of the death of exotic dancer Tamara Greene. Their revealing statements are exposing new details about the rumored Manoogian Mansion party. An event some people say happened while former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick resided there.

It has been coined the much rumored party at the Manoogian Mansion. Years ago, it was almost impossible to find people to talk about it, but not so much any more.

Inside a recently released, 48-page document, two cops call this entire case a cover-up. The first new witness is a former homicide detective for the city of Detroit.

“He’s another good cop who did a good job and lost a bad job as a result of it. They buried the Tammy Greene murder investigation in cold case, and he tried to unbury it and as a result, they buried him,” said attorney Norman Yatooma.

He is representing the children Greene left behind when she was gunned down and killed in cold blood. It is said she was a dancer the night of the alleged gathering at the mansion.

According to Yatooma, when that top cop tried to investigate the files on the Greene case, he was forced out of the force because of it. The officer also offered the following information about another woman who was said to be there.

“She’s a Detroit Police officer who is said to have been at that party,” Yatooma said. “Purportedly, she was at the party and danced at the party and was assaulted at the party.”

Yatooma says all of the evidence to these violent crimes have somehow vanished, and all he wants is justice.

“The harsh reality of it is we can’t count on the city of Detroit, on the DPD, on the mayor’s office or on any of the officials who are defendants in our case to provide us information. If they were forthcoming with information, the investigation would have been solved already. There (would) be no lawsuit,” said Yatooma. “All the information we’re getting in this case is coming from third parties. Virtually everything of import and so much of that comes as a result of the media’s efforts, not just ours.”

Witness number two is proof of that. She heard about the investigation on the news from far away in Florida and called the law office to tell them what she knows.

“This one was on dispatch the night of the party,” Yatooma said. “She doesn’t think it’s an urban legend. She thinks that most of the cars in (inaudible) precinct were out responding to that party on that call, and she thinks that she heard a lieutenant providing requirement that everybody submit a report… This lady at dispatch, she knows what happened.”

Yatooma wants this case to be an open book. He wants the world to know what happened and those secret, sealed documents opened, but a judge said no, so it is hush, hush for now.
